This position supports a large and growing pulmonary and cardiac oncologic, interstitial and transplant service and includes a funded fellowship position. In addition to patient care activities, the incumbent will be expected to participate in medical student and house staff teaching and develop or continue his/her research program. Outstanding opportunities for collaborative translational research are available with members of basic science and clinical departments throughout UTSW. The Department of Pathology of UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an accomplished academic pathologist at the Assistant, Associate or Professor rank with subspecialty training and expertise in Thoracic/Pulmonary Pathology. Candidates must possess an MD, MD/PhD, or DO; BE/BC by the American Board of Pathology; and be eligible for Texas medical license.
