Shift Hours: Monday-Thursday (4 day/10-hour shifts) 8:00pm-6:30am EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION · Education · Experience
· Performs histocompatibility testing for solid organ and bone marrow transplant. Testing methods include, but are not limited to, flow cytometry, Luminex based assays, serology, and molecular methods. Assists Supervisor with assay development as necessary. · Participates in “on call” duties for solid organ and bone marrow STAT services. Including nights and weekend as needed based on a rotational schedule. · Organizes testing data for submission to laboratory supervisor/assigned technologist for review. · Performs routine QC and QA tasks under the supervision of the laboratory manager. Support Quality Management initiative according to UTSW and CLS Quality Programs. · Participates in continuing education activities as required by laboratory accreditation agencies. · Performs other duties as assigned.
