JOB SUMMARY
UT Southwestern is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Office Assistant for their RedBird location. The ideal candidate is skilled in family medicine and EPIC, multiple specialties helpful; upbeat, provide exceptional customer service and passionate to serve an underserved patient population. Must always maintain a patient centered attitude, demonstrating compassion and empathy for patients and their families. Duties include but are not limited to direct patient care to support Primary Care clinic of five (5) providers or more to room patients, administer medication, assist with procedures, perform pre-visit planning calls, chart prep and care gap closures, ordering and stocking clinic supplies; this certified medical assistant could cross-train and cover for other specialties such as Cardiology, Vascular Medicine, Neurology, and/or other specialties at the RedBird location. Works under the general supervision of physicians and/or nurses to provide clinical support to physicians and nurses in delivery of patient clinical care and administrative support.
Work Location: 3450 W. Camp Wisdom Road, Dallas, Texas 75237
Shift Requirement: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday; rotate every 3 months 7:45am to 4:45pm or 8:30am to 5:30pm. *With the needs of community, there is potential for earlier hours or Saturday need.
