JOB SUMMARY
Assist Principal Investigators with the development of the administrative/management plan for research projects; provide assistance with the development of project strategy.

  Master’s Degree In related field or
  Bachelor’s Degree In related field

  6 years Experience in behavioral, social science, or public health with Master’s Degree or
  8 years Experience in behavioral, social science, or public health with Bachelor’s Degree and

JOB DUTIES

• Manage activities associated with large, complex research projects and program management to include: grant expenditure adherence, staffing, supervision of personnel, project evaluation, timeline adherence and control of equipment and supplies.
• Provide guidance to on-going research studies and training to Population Science Project Coordinators and staff.
• Maintain collaborative relationships between different departments, universities and community partners.
• Edit grant proposals and write or provide writing support; provide comprehensive editorial review; advise investigators on proposal content and organization; assist with updates and maintenance of institutional resource template materials; create complex budget proposals and justifications and staffing proposals.
• Participate in selection process of research staff including: recruitment and hiring processes of project staff, screening and interviewing interested candidates, proposing salary compensation, coordinating the completion of relevant documentation for new hires and arranging for employee needs once hired (office space, electronic and communication equipment.)
• Evaluate staff performance and implement measures necessary to maintain quality performance and results.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
