The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is actively recruiting a full-time, board eligible/certified Physiatrist with the ability to drive program development while maintaining a focus on clinical excellence across three major hospitals and affiliated outpatient clinics. Role Responsibilities and Duties:

The ideal candidate will provide high quality, comprehensive clinical care to inpatients and outpatients as assigned.  Teaching responsibilities will include medical students, PM&R residents and fellows in didactic lectures and group settings as well as participation in various multidisciplinary conferences.  Research will vary depending on the candidate’s interest.

Qualifications:

• Education: MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
• Board Certification: ABPMR Board certified or eligible
• Licensure: Eligible for Texas medical licensure (must acquire prior to employment)
