The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, ranked No. 1 hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and tied for No. 1 hospital in Texas by U.S. News and World Report (2023-2024), is seeking a full-time, board certified/eligible, highly skilled and experienced physiatrist specializing in stroke and brain injury medicine to lead and expand our Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Stroke program. This leadership opportunity encompasses both clinical responsibilities and administrative oversight, playing a vital role in the growth of our program across two premier hospitals and affiliated outpatient clinics. The ideal candidate will have a passion for advancing rehabilitation care and enhancing patient outcomes while contributing to the educational development of future healthcare professionals.
The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, chaired by Dr. Heakyung Kim, provides services at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Clements University Hospital, and their affiliated outpatient clinics. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work with residents, fellows, and medical students in one of the largest PM&R training programs in the U.S.
