UT Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Pathology, is seeking an accomplished Academic Anatomic Pathologist at any rank with subspecialty training and expertise. In addition to patient care activities, the candidate will be expected to participate in medical student and house staff teaching and develop or continue his/her research program. Outstanding opportunities for collaborative, translational research are available with members of basic science and clinical departments throughout UT Southwestern. Competitive salary and start-up will be provided.
The applicant must have an MD, MD/PhD, or DO; BE/BC by the American Board of Pathology; and have or be eligible for a Texas medical license. Furthermore, excellent communication skills and additional expertise in Cytopathology (including with FNA material, body fluids, and PAPs), Gastrointestinal Pathology or Genitourinary Pathology is highly desirable.
