JOB SUMMARY
UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payment Specialist I to join our dynamic and fast-paced Revenue Cycle team. Works under general supervision and is responsible for the accuracy of facts and/or figures posted to patients, company and suspended and/or pending accounts. Researches and investigates accounts when posting payments from patients, insurance companies, government insurance and other third-party carriers. In this essential role, you will support the financial operations of the medical center by indexing correspondence letters and accurately interpreting Explanation of Benefits (EOBs). As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the seamless flow of financial processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
