JOB SUMMARY
The Associate Vice President and Chief Advanced Practice Officer (CAPO) is a transformational, visionary leader that manages the organization wide strategy and integration of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). A key objective for the Associate VP & CAPO is to ensure industry standard APP practice and implementation of best practices across UT Southwestern Medical Center continuum of care. The Associate VP and CAPO will manage the Office of Advanced Practice Providers and develop mission critical Advanced Practice Provider initiatives and programming. The position will provide leadership through excellent management, coaching, and mentoring to ensure the development of APPs is in concert with UT Southwestern’s mission, values, and goals.
