Responsibilities
The Department of Neuroscience at the University of Texas Southwestern MEdical Center invites applicants to apply at the Instructor level for a faculty position. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in Neuroscience or related field and have at least 3 years’ experience working on Neuroscience research projects. The selected applicant will serve in a leadership role in a research laboratory helping to mentor graduate students and postdoctoral researchers and will work on an indepdent research project within an overall scientific focus of the laboratory, specifically focused on molecular mechanisms of mammalian circadian clock function. The Department of Neuroscience is a core component of the Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute at UT Southwestern.
- Ph.D. in Neuroscience or related field
- 3+ years of expirence working on Neuroscience research projects
- Experience related to the mammalian circadian clock function preferred
