EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required

• Education
  High School diploma or equivalent

• Experience
  3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics or hospital and
  2 years of leadership experience

• Licenses and Certifications
  Valid and active Texas Driver’s License 

Preferred

  Bachelor’s Degree

JOB DUTIES

• Supervises the day-to-day operations for the distribution center warehouse department including staff, warehouse operations, inventory, receiving, transportation and other tasks essential to the department.
• Maintains an expert level of knowledge of all aspects related to receiving, storage, handling, and delivery of medical supplies and equipment.
• Lead and support process improvement initiatives to ensure effective/efficient workflows.
• Conduct periodic warehouse inventories to ensure inventory accuracy, accountability, and traceability.
• Manages schedule, payroll, time-off request, FMLA and other HR related issues within the department.
• Build relationships and frequently communicate with customers to address their needs and resolve issues.
• Train associates on all department vehicles and material handling equipment.
• Escalate issues to managers and recommends potential solutions.
• Tracks in-bound and out-bound inventory.
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
