JOB SUMMARY
The Data and Applications Administrator works under general direction and is responsible for comprehensive data management and the administration of systems and applications that support all fundraising efforts. This includes ensuring the effective use of these platforms across a wide range of development activities involving multiple units and stakeholders. The role requires demonstrated expertise in constituent relationship management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce, or Raiser’s Edge. This position serves as a data intermediary, bridging the gap between data consumers (end users) and technical builders (developers or IT).
This position falls under a hybrid work schedule with 2 days on campus/ 3 days remote.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
5 years experience directly managing a customer relationship management system in a multi-faceted development office.
Must have a comprehensive understanding of generally accepted fundraising protocols and best practices, reporting standards, and management guidelines.
Preferred Experience
* Demonstrated proficiency in database administration, preferably Raiser’s Edge, and other Blackbaud solutions (i.e. NetCommunity, ResearchPoint) and services (document imaging – PaperSave, data enrichment).
* Proficiency with constituent or donor databases such as Raiser’s Edge (including NXT), Salesforce, Affinaquest, or similar platforms, with the ability to navigate, maintain, and extract complex data sets
* Experience using query tools and query languages (e.g., SQL) to extract, analyze, and segment data for reporting, list generation, and decision-making support.
* Proficiency with Excel (including advanced functions like pivot tables and formulas)
* Strong skills in data management, data compliance, query, analysis, and reporting are essential, as is experience coordinating data workflows between departments.
