JOB SUMMARY
UT Southwestern at Park Cities is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Office Assistant for their Primary Care team. The ideal candidate has one (1) year work experience minimum in primary care, family or internal medicine, and/or private medical practice; EPIC user experience; upbeat, provide exceptional customer service and passionate to serve an underserved patient population. Must always maintain a patient centered attitude, demonstrating compassion and empathy for patients and their families.
This position will assist in patient intake, rooming, assistance with procedures, medication reconciliation, medication and vaccine administration, lab results notification, assistance with FMLA forms, pre-visit planning and Chart prep, medical record CD downloads, in-basket management, ordering and stocking clinical supplies. New medical assistant program graduates with externship experience are welcome to apply. This position works under the general supervision of physicians and/or nurses to provide clinical support to physicians and nurses in delivery of patient clinical care and administrative support.
Work Location: Park Cities Clinic at 8611 Hillcrest Road, Dallas, Texas 75225
Shift Requirement: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
