JOB SUMMARY
UT Southwestern is in search of a skilled and experienced Logistics Technician for our hospital’s Logistics team. Applicants with previous logistics experience in medical equipment distribution within a healthcare, academic, and/or research facility are encouraged to apply; ability to work in a demanding environment, and with great communication skills. As a valued part of the UTSW team, you will be in constant communication with patients, doctors, and nurses throughout the UTSW system, with an emphasis on providing exceptional service to your customers and team.
Please Note: This position is specifically for the Logistics Department and not Food Service Operations. This position will not perform specific food service job duties as outlined in the job duties below.
The Logistics Technician is responsible for the efficient handling of goods and materials within the supply chain. Duties include managing inventory, warehousing, and distribution. Specific responsibilities may include the following:
Work Location: Dallas Campus; assist and travel to & from other UTSW locations as needed.
Shift Requirement: Your shift preferences will be asked during in-person interview; this role typically works M-F with occasional weekend mandatory projects; holidays may or may not be optional.
