Responsibilities
Established research laboratory is seeking a qualified Ph.D. researcher to work in the Neuro-Oncology laboratory. The successful candidate will work to accomplish the goals of an NIH funded project focusing on understanding mechanisms of resistance to treatment in cancers. A particular focus of the lab is mechanisms of resistance to EGFR inhibition in non-small cell lung cancer in glioblastoma. Additionally, the candidate would contribute to writing scientific papers and grant applications.
This position requires a Ph.D. in the biological sciences. Major areas of interest include mechanisms of resistance to targeted treatments in cancer. The candidate should have substantial experience in Cancer Biology with experience in signal transduction, molecular and cell biology, and animal models of cancer. The candidate should have the ability to design experiments and conduct them independently.
