Responsibilities
The Department of Dermatology is seeking a highly motivated faculty member to join our team. This position is ideal for an early-career physician-scientist who is passionate about advancing dermatologic research while maintaining a clinical presence. The successful candidate will devote the majority of their time to independent and collaborative research (90%), with a portion dedicated to providing exceptional patient care (10%).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct innovative research in dermatology and related fields, with opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences.
- Develop and maintain an externally funded research program, including preparation and submission of grant applications.
- Provide high-quality outpatient dermatologic care on a limited clinical schedule.
- Participate in departmental, institutional, and national service activities as appropriate.
- MD or MD/PhD with board eligibility/certification in Dermatology.
- Demonstrated research productivity, including publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Evidence of potential to secure independent research funding.
- Commitment to excellence in research, clinical care, and education.
