JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Program Coordinator for the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, Accreditation, and Assessment is responsible for overseeing and managing operational aspects of UT Southwestern Medical Center’s assessment and quality improvement processes for academic programs, support services, and administrative services. The role involves a variety of duties aimed at ensuring excellence and continuous quality improvement with respect to accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and relevant laws. The Senior Program Coordinator reports to the Director of OIEAA.

JOB DUTIES
· Directs, analyzes, coordinates, and evaluates program operation and procedures.
· Develops, cultivates, and maintains working relationships with internal/external departments/agencies and other organizations associated with and/or receiving benefit from program. Specifically, assists program directors in the development, deployment, and review of assessment instruments, assessment plan, and associated data.
· Establishes program goals and objectives and directs program evaluation and quality control activities; develops and/or approves schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals.
· Recommends new policies and procedures for improvement of program activities. Specifically, develops and implements systematic and ongoing practices to ensure the organization effectively monitors and meets institutional and programmatic accreditation requirements.
· Plans and coordinates special events and participates in conferences; presents data and program information.
· Responsible for design, execution, and effectiveness of system of internal controls, which provide reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets are safe-guarded, and financial information is reliable.
· Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
· Coordinates training and development of staff as necessary.
· Reads literature and attends functions to keep abreast of relevant developments related to institutional effectiveness, accreditation, and assessment.
· Serves on committees as representative of OIEAA as appropriate.
· May provide supervision to staff members.
Preferred Skills
· Demonstrated experience with the theory and practice of institutional effectiveness / continuous quality improvement in a higher education setting
· Excellent written and oral communications skills, to include evidence of the ability to demonstrate discretion and diplomacy
· Positive attitude marked by creativity flexibility, rapid problem solving, and a bias to action
· Basic knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics
· Facility with data visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau and experience with data organization and transformation tools such as Excel, Power Query, or SQL.
