JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented Senior Business Analyst to join the Data Services team within the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. This position will assist in leading the collection, analysis and management of all data related to programs within the scope of the Graduate School. Creation of data visualizations and preparation of analyzed reports to support decision-making and for submission to internal and external stakeholders is a key priority for this role. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented, skilled at complex project management, and willing to supervise other staff either as direct reports or as project team members. Candidates must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking skills, and a proactive approach toward problem solving. To be successful in this role, this individual must operate with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, with a customer service focus, and ensure compliance with all Graduate School policies and procedures. This role works under minimal supervision to direct operation of program or project, exercising independent judgment and authority as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Collects, interprets, and documents specifications for updating or developing new data resources and processes based on changing business needs and priorities. Develops and implements operational plans to support users.
Plans and implements data integrity audits across systems. Analyzes results and identify trends that can be remediated with additional staff training.
Collaborates with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness to plan, implement, and analyze evaluations of graduate programs to meet State and accreditation requirements.
Gathers, analyzes, and interprets data for leadership and other data consumers.
Contributes to strategic initiatives, implementation, evaluation, and process improvement, which may include the development and/or evaluation of new software platforms.
Participates in multiple aspects of Graduate Student recruitment, admissions and orientation.
May supervise other staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
