Profile

We are seeking an outstanding psychiatrist to join our Inpatient and Interventional Psychiatry service at Clements University Hospital.

Responsibilities include direct patient care on the inpatient unit as well as the outpatient Interventional Psychiatry service. The attending psychiatrist will perform evaluations and treatment of patients with treatment resistant psychiatric illnesses using advanced antidepressant therapies such as pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), ketamine intra nasal and intra venous therapy, magnetic seizure therapy (MST), electro convulsive therapy (ECT), deep brain stimulation (DBS), vagus nerve stimulation (VNS), nerve-blocks, as well as other advanced applications of brain stimulation interventions. 

Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. and be board certified or board eligible in General Psychiatry. While Texas licensure is not required for consideration or selection, it is a pre-requisite for starting in the position. Academic experience or focused training in interventional psychiatry is required, but candidate does not have to be experienced in all treatment modalities.
