JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a qualified, dedicated and compassionate individual to join our spiritual care team in an essential healthcare role. This position plays a pivotal part in delivering quality spiritual care and support to our patients, their families, and overall hospital community contributing directly to the success of our operations. The role will primarily be scheduled from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, though flexibility in scheduling may be required as needed to accommodate various circumstances.
Given the nature of this healthcare position, the successful candidate must be adaptable to unexpected situations that may require adjustments to the standard schedule. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
• Inclement weather that may impact typical scheduling and require timely response.
• Increased clinical demands due to changes in patient volume or needed hospital essential staff.
• Departmental scheduling challenges that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances.
Occasionally, there may be a need for overnight or weekend availability, particularly during extraordinary circumstances or emergencies. While these instances are rare, they are integral to ensuring continuous, high-quality patient care and department workflow.
