The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics is seeking an outstanding individual with experience in Child Abuse for a faculty position in the Referral and Evaluation of At-Risk Children (REACH) Team in the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at UT Southwestern and Children’s Health Dallas.
Candidates can expect an opportunity for a well-balanced career in teaching and clinical medicine with opportunities for research. Fellowship training in Child Abuse Pediatrics is preferred. Applicants with a strong interest and experience in Child Abuse will also be considered. We are especially interested in applicants with interests and/or experience in providing care for children with special health care needs. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the state of Texas and be board-eligible or certified in Pediatrics.
Children’s Health System of Texas is a state-of-the art, 406-bed, free-standing facility that provides comprehensive care to the children of Dallas and surrounding areas. Children’s Health includes clinics in Dallas and Plano. Physicians consult on both the inpatient and ambulatory services, where they supervise and teach residents from the categorical pediatric residency training program and students from UTSW School of Medicine, and Fellows in the Child Abuse program. Faculty in the Department of Pediatrics have a strong tradition of clinical and teaching excellence.
