JOB SUMMARY
Works under general supervision to provide responsible skilled assistance in performing financial analysis for department. Responsible for completing more complex financial analyses and developing forecast models. Duties include:
• Monthly review and analysis of financial reports (including All Funds – variances analysis of current budget and year over year, etc.)
o Written Executive Summary Report.
o Presentation to division leadership.
• Preparation of Business plans – Faculty, and Ops Staff.
• Actively participate in the strategic planning process.
• Prepare and review annual budgets and budgeted sourcing for all fund types and positions.
• Track, Budget, Reconcile, and Prepare Reporting for Contract (Internal /External) Management Agreements.
• Other internal/external contracts/agreements.
• Oversight of commitments (startup, retention, etc.).
• Request draw and/or return of commitment funding (startup, retention, etc. from the Provost’s Office, President’s Office, Department as applicable).
• Prepare Financial and Position Projections.
• Identify areas of poor performance, and potential causes, and present to division leadership.
• Analyze, interpret, and present Ops and Core Productivity outcomes – monthly (budget and benchmark).
• Department or Division assigned ad hoc requests (i.e. equity analysis, billing, etc.)
