JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a clinical professional (RN, MD, APP) with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare operations and a track record in data management and quality improvement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and EPIC (or similar electronic medical record systems), along with strong public speaking skills for presenting data to diverse audiences. They should possess excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with high-level stakeholders and an aptitude for developing and executing reports, presentations, and detailed process maps. A team-oriented approach, positive attitude, and strong organizational skills are essential, enabling them to foster collaboration across interdisciplinary teams while efficiently managing multiple priorities.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

JOB DUTIES
- Characterize process workflows, design innovative solutions, and create comprehensive implementation plans with post-implementation evaluations.
- Lead data-driven projects aimed at enhancing safety culture, increasing efficiencies, and improving patient care quality across the continuum.
- Identify education and training needs for project implementation; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive education delivery.
- Ensure seamless project execution within established timelines, fostering full team participation and engagement.
- Act as a resource person across departments, providing expertise and guidance on quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in performance improvement efforts within the department and larger organizational quality improvement teams.
- Educate and mentor clinical and ancillary staff on evidence-based practices and quality improvement methodologies.
- Manage the acquisition and maintenance of prestigious certifications and awards.
- Conduct audits to optimize efficiency and outcomes.
- Track processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop workflow maps demonstrating the complexities of specialties and programs within the service line.
- Identify barriers and recurring delays in care, implementing solutions to enhance communication and efficiency.
- Develop, maintain, and refine reporting systems to ensure transparency and accuracy of information.
- Delegate tasks to ancillary service members, leveraging their expertise to achieve project goals.
- Serve as a program manager, ensuring follow-up on tasks and closing the loop on quality improvement initiatives.
