JOB SUMMARY
Position will lead and manage complex projects across infrastructure, cloud, AI, data, and cybersecurity, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and IT governance frameworks. This role requires strong IT experience and a deep understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance to ensure projects adhere to industry standards and internal policies. The incumbent must reside in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. This position does not support H1B visa sponsorship. Position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

Excels at coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project lifecycles, and driving technology initiatives that deliver secure, scalable, and innovative solutions while maintaining robust oversight and stakeholder communication.

JOB DUTIES
- Project Planning & Execution: Document requirements, scope, objectives, goals, milestones, benefits, deliverables, resources, systems, constraints, standards of performance, risks, and success criteria for all assigned projects; develop detailed project plans and schedules; coordinate and lead cross-functional technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Budgeting: Participate in the annual budget planning process as it pertains to a given program.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to IT governance frameworks, risk management policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls; facilitate audits and compliance reviews as needed.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors; communicate project status, risks, and issues clearly and effectively.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively to minimize impact on project outcomes.
- Technical Expertise: Apply strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, AI technologies, data management, and cybersecurity principles to guide project decisions and troubleshooting.
- Resource Coordination: Manage allocation of resources across projects, balancing priorities to optimize productivity and deliverables.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, technical requirements, and business objectives.
- Work Authorization and Change Control: Manage project change requests and adapt project plans accordingly, ensuring minimal disruption and stakeholder alignment.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, status reports, risk logs, issues logs, decision logs, and post-implementation lessons learned.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
