JOB SUMMARY
The Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU) at UT Southwestern is one of the world’s premier neurological diagnostic and treatment centers. Our recently opened, state-of-the-art 24-bed unit is equipped and designed to provide coordinated, compassionate care, while closely monitoring and treating patients with life-threatening neurological conditions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program; BSN is preferred
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Texas Board of Nursing or with a multistate license from Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
BLS accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
ACLS accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
