JOB SUMMARY
UT Southwestern is actively seeking an experienced Hospital Construction Project Manager with strong MEP expertise to lead complex healthcare construction projects from planning through commissioning. This role oversees critical mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems – including HVAC, power, medical gases, life safety, and related infrastructure – ensuring all work meets strict healthcare codes and operational requirements.
As Project Manager, you will coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and hospital stakeholders; manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and design reviews; and drive technical oversight of submittals, drawings, and field installation. This role works under general direction of the Director of Renovation Program to provide Project Management services for renovation projects up to $4M and occasionally projects of greater value. The primary purpose of the Project Manager position is to provide project management expertise for multiple assigned projects.
Success in this role requires deep knowledge of hospital MEP systems, strong project management skills, clear communication, and the ability to deliver safe, functional patient-care environments on time and within budget.
Work Location: Dallas Campus; onsite 100% of time, may or may not require travel to and from other UTSW facilities throughout DFW metro area.
Shift Requirement: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
