JOB SUMMARY
Works in partnership with Children’s Medical Center clinical practice managers and Department of Pediatrics Medical Directors under limited supervision to provide clinical practice management of all ambulatory and hospital based clinics within the Department of Pediatrics.
The role is responsible for maintaining the operational infrastructure supporting high-performing clinical programs, including performance monitoring frameworks, resource allocation, coverage models, and standardized workflows. The Manager, Clinical Practice ensures divisions have access to timely, accurate, and actionable data to support faculty productivity, billing compliance, patient access, and compliance with Department, University and Health System standards. The Manager, Clinical Practice conducts advanced operational and financial analyses to identify trends, risks, capacity constraints, and opportunities for improvement or growth. These insights are translated into clear, data-driven recommendations for Department leaders, informing strategic decision-making related to staffing, budgeting, program development, and overall clinical and financial performance.
