Responsibilities
The Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Instructor to serve as Chief Resident.
As a Chief Resident, we anticipate that the candidate will have substantial responsibility to help develop, modify and implement the educational curriculum for residents; will serve as a teacher of residents and students who are engaged in patient care, by providing didactic education as well as direct oversight; help represent the residents in both formal and informal administrative activities; will assist in the evaluation of residents and in providing them timely and productive feedback; and will participate in the evaluation and selection of future residents.
Candidate must have valid Texas Medical License.
