Job Summary: The Division of Gynecologic Oncology is part of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the home of the largest residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and one of the busiest clinical programs in the United States. We have over 100 faculty members, and four fellowship programs. Gynecologic Oncology is a designated disease-oriented team for the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center, an elite NCI designated cancer institute, with 265 member, 13 multidisciplinary teams, transdisciplinary research, community engagement and exceptional patient care. The Division has had a long-standing collaboration with the Cecil H. and Ida Green Center for Reproductive Biology Sciences, an endowed basic science research center. The Green Center promotes and supports cutting-edge, integrative, and collaborative basic research in cancer and related areas of biology, as well as strong connections between basic and clinical research. Successful candidates will be a part of a newly renovated state-of-the-art research facility and are expected to establish scientifically rigorous and externally funded research programs and participate in division, department, and university teaching and training programs.
The Division is a member of the National Cancer Institute’s NRG Oncology Group and has a wide breadth of participation in clinical trials through GOG Partners and other collaborators. The Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship program has full ACGME accreditation.
Position Highlights: Clinical responsibilities will include patient care, engagement in resident and medical student education, as well as clinical or scholarly activities that advance the field of Gynecologic Oncology.
