JOB SUMMARY
The Health System Quality Improvement Analyst II (QIA II) is an intermediate-level analytics professional who plays a key role in advancing clinical and non-clinical quality improvement and operational excellence across the health system. Partnering closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare leaders, the QIA II ensures that data insights reflect real-world clinical and non-clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, patient safety priorities, and quality performance standards.
Working under general supervision, the QIA II supports the design, development, and delivery of system-wide quality and operational performance analytics. The analyst produces reports, dashboards, analyses, and other data-driven resources that directly inform clinical decision-making and performance improvement initiatives.
This role contributes to organizational analytics by working with large and complex healthcare datasets and translating findings into clear, actionable insights for both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. The position requires proficiency in, or the ability to learn, Microsoft SQL Server, experience with data visualization tools, and strong collaboration skills within interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Work is primarily remote, with periodic on-campus presence required based on departmental and operational needs.
