A postdoctoral training position is available in the laboratory of Nikhil Munshi [http://www.munshi-lab.com/], in the Department of Internal Medicine / Division of Cardiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center to develop new tools and strategies for delivering gene therapy treatments to correct diseases of abnormal cardiac rhythm. Our laboratory [http://www.munshi-lab.com/] works on several exciting areas related to cardiovascular biology, including transcriptional regulation of cardiac rhythm, development, reprogramming, and regeneration.
Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience in mouse genetics and AAV production are desirable, and familiarity with cell culture, biochemistry, and molecular biology techniques are a major benefit. We seek candidates with evidence of prior publication in peer-reviewed journals.
