As a Public Safety Officer for the Healthcare System, you will provide critical services and information to staff, patients and visitors while working within our supported police department. For those applicants who may be interested in a career in law enforcement, this entry-level position allows you to safeguard the people, resources and infrastructure at UT Southwestern while growing your criminal justice background. Required
Education High School Diploma Graduation from high school, vocational school, or equivalent
Experience
No experience required.
Must successfully pass a thorough background investigation.
Must be able to provide creditable testimony in a court of law.
All offers of employment are contingent upon a verified negative drug screen.
Licenses and Certifications
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive a University owned and/or leased motor vehicle.
Security
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
