POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER
A postdoctoral training position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Liraz Galia in the department of Pathology at UT Southwestern Medical Center to study novel regulatory mechanisms that control innate immunity in the intestinal microenvironment. The Galia lab, has several exciting projects related to lncRNA-mediated regulation of organelle function and immunometabolism in innate immune cells, as well as posttranslational regulation of innate immune proteins by the microbiota.

Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience in immunology and in vivo mouse models is required. Candidates with experience in flow cytometry, imaging techniques, and bioinformatic skills are advantageous, though not required.
