JOB SUMMARY
UT Southwestern is seeking a skilled and experienced IT professional for our Supervisor Technical Support – IR Desktop Hospital position within our Client Services team. This Supervisor Technical Support position currently reports directly to the assistant director and works with supervision to plan, organize, and coordinate various functions to support UT Southwestern Medical Center and clinics. This position is onsite daily and is primarily located with the hospital, the hospital is a 24/7/365 work environment. The primary hours are 8 am – 5 pm Monday – Friday, however rotating on call weekend, and inclement weather coverage is required. The candidate must possess a strong and reliable work ethic. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations, technical support, resources allocation, and assignment of various campus projects. This person should be highly skilled in IT hardware and OS troubleshooting, as well as networking, and imaging issues. You will lead a team of technical staff to provide guidance, performance evaluations, and professional growth. This position requires someone who is structured and organized in their approach to leadership and possesses a forward-thinking/continuous process improvement mindset. You must be flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced hospital environment. This position is not hybrid or remote, it is 100% on site.
