JOB SUMMARY
Works under minimal direction to provide coordination and supervision of major and very complex activities, programs, functions, or projects for large office, department, or division.
The Administrative Coordinator, reporting to the Associate Vice President of Advancement Strategy and Operations, will serve as the chief point of contact and liaison to the UT Southwestern Office of Human Resources for all departments under the Office of Institutional Advancement (IA). Leading the IA HR team, the successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with hiring managers across IA to facilitate the Talent Acquisition process, overseeing the Performance Management process to include goal setting and performance reviews, assisting supervisors and employees with Employee Relations and other personnel concerns, partnering with Compensation on job creations, revisions, position and salary analyses, etc., assisting with Leave Administration requests and related matters, managing timekeeping activities for all IA employees, and performing other duties as assigned. The Administrative Coordinator will supervise a Program Coordinator, assisting with job duties, training, and professional growth opportunities. This role is currently approved for telecommuting, and the incumbent will be required to be in the office two days per week and may be requested in the office more frequently during busy times. The preferred candidate will have experience:
– submitting PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) transactions
– working as a hiring manager in the Talent Acquisition Management (TAM) system
– serving as timekeeper in MyTime
– partnering with supervisors and employees on personnel matters
– acting as liaison to UTSW Human Resources divisions and teams
– leading a team and supervising others
