JOB SUMMARY
The Office of the Vice Chair of Education in the Department of Internal Medicine (IM) is seeking an experienced professional to serve as Manager of Education-IM Fellowships. This position is part of a newly established Division of Educational Affairs, created to centralize and strengthen administrative operations across the department’s fellowship programs. Together with another manager, you will both oversee a total of 21 Internal Medicine subspecialty fellowship programs supporting approximately 375 trainees, with each manager leading one of two operational units. Both roles will report directly to the Manager of Educational and Alumni Affairs. As part of this new structure, the Managers of Education will play a key role in ensuring a cohesive transition while maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with current program faculty leadership. The success of this model depends on consistent communication, alignment of goals, and unified administrative processes—areas where these leaders will provide both direction and continuity. The incumbent must reside in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex or be willing to relocate.
