The Department of Neuroscience at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center inbites applicants at the Instructor level for a faculty position. The selected applicant will serve in a leadership role in a research laboratory helping to mentor graduate students, postdoctoral researchers and lower lever technicians and will work on independent research projects within an overall scientific focusing on neural circuitry and the functional significance of extra-SCN pacemakers in how it relates to circadian rhythms. The Department of Neuroscience is a core component of the Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute at UT Southwestern.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in Neuroscience or related field and have at least 5 years experience working on neuroscience topics and research in circadian rhythms.
