7 years managing medium to large scale medical equipment planning related projects and experience in communicating with executives in lieu of bachelor‿s degree

JOB DUTIES
- Responsible for managing the planning, coordination, and execution of medical equipment projects across construction, renovation, and operational initiatives; ensures project goals align with institutional standards and clinical needs.
- Define project scope, schedule, and equipment deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders including Health System Planning, Facilities, Procurement, and clinical end users.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the project team and vendors to manage procurement, logistics, delivery, and installation of major medical equipment; ensure conformance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including design consultants, equipment planners, construction personnel, and hospital departments to meet project milestones.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project decisions, budgets, planning outputs, procurement status, and readiness activities using SharePoint and Attainia platforms.
- Support internal processes by contributing to the development and use of standardized templates, workflows, and reporting tools for medical equipment project execution.
- Track and report on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to ensure timely issue resolution and stakeholder alignment.
- Manage change control processes, including scope adjustments, schedule modifications, and product substitutions in coordination with impacted teams.
- Monitor equipment planning dependencies with construction and facility activation timelines; proactively escalate risks to ensure alignment with broader project goals.
- Facilitate user group engagement sessions, site walks, vendor coordination meetings, and readiness reviews.
- Ensure closeout documentation is properly completed, uploaded, and archived in alignment with department procedures.
- Contribute to post-project evaluations and continuous improvement efforts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
