JOB SUMMARY
UT Southwestern is seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Planning Manager to join the Facilities Planning team; to lead the planning, programming, and design of healthcare, academic, and research facilities in support of the Campus Master Plan. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, TBAE State Architectural Registration, and 6 to 10+ years of experience in planning and designing clinical, hospital, academic, or biomedical research facilities. Strong healthcare or academic project planning experience is preferred, along with AICP certification and a background in complex capital construction projects.
As Senior Facilities Planning Manager, you will support capital projects by developing project programs, preparing schematic plans, reviewing design documents, and ensuring compliance with building codes and standards. You will collaborate with campus leadership, faculty, staff, consultants, and design teams to deliver effective space planning solutions and manage renovation, remodeling, and new construction projects aligned with institutional goals.
Work Location: Trinity Towers at Dallas Campus; onsite 100% of time, may or may not require travel to and from other UTSW facilities throughout DFW metro area.
Shift Requirement: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
