JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the Information Resources (IR) team, the Senior Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in catering to the Basic science research community as well as serving as back up for the Clinical Research community at UT Southwestern. In this role you will provide high-quality service to researchers, staff, and students and for the day-to-day operations, support, and management of the following research applications critical to research administration operations: Basic Science Animal Research Management System (Topaz Elements), Clinical Trials Management System (Velos), and Florence eBinder System. You will collaborate with department leaders, business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand specific needs and initiatives and manage the design and development of solutions to ensure alignment with organizational goals and needs. This role requires you to stay informed of advancements in research technologies and tools that enhance the experience and optimize operations for the research community. This position requires someone who is structured and organized in their approach, possesses a forward-thinking/continuous process improvement mindset. Our ideal candidate has experience in Basic Science Animal Research Management System (Topaz Elements), Clinical Trials Management System (Velos), or Florence eBinder System.
