The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases, is seeking a Hepatologist to join it’s growing clinical faculty. This position will play a key role in providing services at Harris Methodist in Fort Worth. The selected candidate will function as a hepologist physician with responsibilities that include includes The selected candidate will function as a gastrointestinal physician with responsibilities that include comprehensive patient care in gastroenterology, diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders, and performance of endoscopic procedures. The role also includes active participation in the teaching and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Applicant must have an M.D degree or equivalent, from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program and Gastroenterology fellowship from an ACGME accredited program. Candidate must be eligible for Texas medical license and be board certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology.
