JOB SUMMARY
The Health System Senior Quality Improvement Analyst will serve as an expert-level analyst supporting the development and administration of a health system-wide quality and operational analytics. Works under minimal supervision to produce expert-level analysis, analytics, reports, dashboards, and other resources in support of Health System Quality & Operational Excellence Department’s goals and objectives.
This role requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as a senior analytical resource, providing healthcare quality insights to management while demonstrating subject matter expertise across multiple data systems. The candidate will be responsible for the collection, validation, and interpretation of complex healthcare data to ensure accuracy and deliver actionable insights.
This position focuses on the Texas Incentives for Physician and Professional Services (TIPPS) program, along with other healthcare quality and performance reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in healthcare analytics and program reporting, with the ability to interpret measure specifications, define business rules, and develop meaningful data visualizations that drive process improvement.
Additionally, the candidate will act as a mentor and resource to junior analysts. Success in this position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including operations and clinical leadership, to translate complex data into clear, meaningful insights that inform decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
