JOB SUMMARY
UT Southwestern Medical Center is actively seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical building systems and equipment at Zale Lipshy Pavilion. We are looking for someone with journeyman-level skills in multiple trades, including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems in a hospital/healthcare environment; strong troubleshooting abilities, a proactive maintenance mindset, and experience maintaining healthcare or commercial facility systems.
As Preventative Maintenance Technician II, you will be responsible for ensuring reliable facility operations, responding to equipment issues, and serving as a key liaison between Facilities Management and customers. This role works under minimal supervision to provide journeyman level skills in performance of work of two trades or crafts.
Work Location: Zale Lipshy Pavilion, onsite 100% of time; assist other UTSW location as needed.
Shift Requirement: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday; availability for overtime when needed.
