A postdoctoral training position is available in the laboratory of Jonathan Friedman, Ph.D. in the Department of Cell Biology at UT Southwestern Medical Center to study the organization and function of mitochondria and other organelles in response to cellular metabolic demand. Friedman Lab has several exciting projects focused on understanding how organelles are physically, functionally, and dynamically organized using a multidisciplinary approach that combines fluorescence and electron microscopy, proteomics, biochemistry, and genetics in both human tissue culture and yeast model systems.

Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree.
