The Department of Pathology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an exceptional research investigator at the Assistant Professor level on the Research Track. The candidate should have expertise in neuroscience, immunology, stem cell biology, and cancer biology and will employ state‐of‐the art technologies to investigate the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying human disease. Responsibilities include conducting innovative basic and translational research in support of the laboratory’s research program, collecting and analyzing data, preparing manuscripts for publication, contributing to the development of extramural grant applications, and mentoring graduate students, research technicians, and new postdoctoral fellows. The Department has an outstanding mix of young, mid‐career and senior investigators who operate in a collegial and stimulating environment.
The candidate must possess a PhD and should have a strong publication record in journals of impact.
