JOB SUMMARY
UTSW is seeking a Temporary Data Center Technician I, to join our dynamic IT team. The Data Center Technician I’s main responsibility is to support data center operations and is knowledgeable of data center support principles that help ensure continuous systems and facility uptime. This role keeps current with industry standards, growth, and changes in technology. Please note, this is an entry level position with opportunity for professional growth.
This is a 6-month to 1-year temporary position with an opportunity to move to a permanent role depending on performance.
This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
Selected candidate must reside in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex.
This position works 100% on site and supports a 24/7 operation and may require flexibility to cover various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

This position is a 24/7, onsite position. Must be flexible and willing to cover shifts of any hour with short notice. Work is primarily performed in general office area. Infrequent travel to remote facilities may be required. Will also be scheduled to work during off-hours change-windows of time that may fall outside of normal business hours or during the weekend. Will be periodically assigned after-hour support and able to be paged 24-7.
