Profile
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Psychiatry, Division of Psychiatry Neuroscience, is accepting applications for an Instructor position in basic neuroscience research. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. and have successfully completed postdoctoral work in biochemistry, molecular biology, neuroscience, or a closely related field.
This position will be conducting research on a project that attempts to understand how specific forms of mechanical forces from DNA supercoiling impact the organization of chromosomes in neurons, and how this in turn affects neuronal functions and the development of lasting adaptive behaviors in animals.
