The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an outstanding cardiologist, ABIM-Board eligible/certified to work full time in our Regional center in Frisco. We will consider both interventional and general cardiology applicants who are superior in all aspects of their specialty. These individuals should also be capable of teaching fellows, Internal Medicine residents, and medical students through clinical rotations, didactic lectures and multidisciplinary conferences.
Cardiology Division, Facilities & Equipment:
Ø The UT Southwestern Frisco clinic is located along the North Dallas Tollway, a multispecialty outpatient facility designed and built to meet the medical needs of the area. It provides the innovative patient care, state-of-the-art technology, and leading-edge research that are UT Southwestern hallmarks.
Ø Texas Health Frisco: This hospital is jointly owned by Texas Health Resources and UT Southwestern and is a state of the art facility that includes cardiovascular noninvasive services and two catheterization laboratories. This will be the primary site of hospital practice for this position.
Ø William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital, a state-of-the-art facility designed for patient comfort and well-being where complex tertiary and quaternary care is provided which incorporates advanced technology to enhance multidisciplinary collaboration
Ø Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas County’s exemplary urban public hospital which provides outstanding diagnosis and treatment for virtually every type of condition or disease
