JOB SUMMARY
The PeopleSoft GL Support Specialist is responsible for providing both functional and technical expertise for the PeopleSoft Financials (FSCM) General Ledger module. This role ensures system stability, supports financial operations, and manages configurations critical to month-end and year-end close processes. Our ideal candidate has 5 or more years of configuration and support experience with PeopleSoft Financials. Please note, this position does not support H1B visa sponsorship.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Functional & Technical Support
• Deliver advanced support for the PeopleSoft GL module, including Commitment Control (KK) and integrations with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to financial operations.
System Monitoring & Maintenance
• Oversee GL batch processing and proactively address production issues.
• Evaluate and test updates, patches, and PUM images to assess system impact.
Configuration & Process Improvement
• Configure, test, and maintain GL tables and system settings.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance system performance.
Cross-Module Support
• Provide secondary functional support for Asset Management, Travel & Expense, and Accounts Payable modules.
User Support & Training
• Assist end users with issue resolution, reporting needs, and system navigation.
• Deliver training and guidance to improve user adoption and efficiency.
Data Integrity & Compliance
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data within the system.
• Support internal controls and compliance requirements.
Documentation & Communication
• Develop and maintain Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and system documentation.
• Act as a liaison between Finance and IT teams, translating business needs into system solutions.
