POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER – We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to join a research program focused on the analysis of routinely collected electronic health record (EHR) data to advance chronic disease prevention and brain health promotion. The fellow will lead studies using large, multi-institutional EHR resources, with familiarity in Epic Cosmos highly preferred. Strong quantitiative training is essential, with key skills spanning biostatistics, bioinformatics, casual inference, and health economics; experience with R and SQL for working with large clinical datasets is expected. Projects will range from population-level epidemiologic studies of cardiometabolic and neurologic disease to causal and economic evaluations of preventive interventions.
The position is structured to foster graduated independence: the fellow will begin with close mentorship on ongoing projects and progressively take ownership of new lines of inquiry, with the explicit goal of establishing their own research program and a competitive portfolio of first-author publications and extramural funding applications by the end of their fellowship. We are committed to supporting the fellow’s transition to an independent investigator role and welcome candidates with the curiosity and drive to define their own scientific direction within the broad thematic areas.
